Wills and probate
Our specialist team have years of experience in drafting Wills and assisting in the administration of deceased estates. We can act as Executors in estates and as Trustees for various types of trusts.
We are experienced in the particular needs of elderly clients, and in providing sensitive advice to families.
We also deal with drafting and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney and applying for Deputyship Orders through the Court of Protection.
Conveyancing
Conveyancing is not just a matter of signing a couple of contracts.
Our job involves checking that a property's legal title is in order, that the property has the legal rights and easements that it needs, and that it is being bought free of any mortgages or other charges that the previous owner may have incurred.
Our department has the expertise to represent you in a wide range of conveyancing matters, both buying and selling.
Company law
Our Company and Commercial department deals with a wide range of matters.
These range from company creation, expansion, takeovers and dissolutions, through partnerships and sole traders, commercial leases and property matters, employment, tax implications, share dealings and financing, not to mention all aspects of agricultural law.
Litigation
We specialise in both Criminal and Civil litigation. We regularly represent clients in Magistrates Courts, Crown Courts and County Courts in Huntingdon, Peterborough, Cambridge and Bedford.
Please take note that, due to Government cutbacks, we are no longer able to offer representation on a Legal Aid basis.
