Peter has been Senior Partner since 2011 and has been with Wilkinson & Butler since 1991.  He qualified in 1988.

When not combatting the vagaries of the law or arguing with magistrates, he is often found reading (and sometimes writing) fantasy and science fiction, or else building strange model aircraft and spacecraft.  Peter has two novels published.

Louis Brandt

The first task of our Wills and Probate department is to ensure that your Will is clear, concise, represents your wishes and can be depended upon to be effective, so that you have the peace of mind that you leave your affairs in good order for the future.

Generally, simple Wills are done on a fixed fee basis, which are £180.00 for a single Will and £240.00 for mirror Wills.  Prices do vary for different situations and there are consessions available, so please feel free to request further information.

Our second task is to administer estates in accordance with a Will and to maximise the value of any estate for the beneficiaries.  

We also recommend that Clients set up Lasting Powers of Attorney so that they can have the peace of mind of knowing that their affairs will be taken care of when they are no longer able to do so themselves.  Lasting Powers of Attorney are also done on a fixed fee basis.  Please contact us for more information.

Louis joined Wilkinson & Butler in 2008 and made Partner in 2010.

He graduated from Rhodes University, Grahamstown, South Africa in 1995 and practised as an Attorney for many years.  He and his wife, Teresa, immigrated to England in 2001, where he qualified as a Solicitor by means of a qualification transfer.  He has been specialising in probate matters since 2002. 

Louis has two children, Bethany and Joshua.  He is a keen chess player and musician, and has been known to tread the boards on occasion.

Sarah studied law and completed the solicitor’s examinations at De Montfort University, Leicester.  Originally from Oxfordshire, she completed her training in Cambridge specialising in family and Employment law upon qualification in 2003.  She joined Wilkinson & Butler in 2007 to work within the family and employment departments.

She is married with three children.  In her spare time she enjoys reading and running and has recently completed the London Marathon.
