WHAT ARE SOLICITORS FOR?

One answer is that we provide a means of access to the law, to enable people to settle their grievances by legitimate means, rather than by resorting to violence.

The other answer is that we are a business, and like any other business we exist to make a profit.

Which is the correct answer?

Actually, both. If we don't make a profit, we will go out of business.... but we will only make a profit if we ensure that we satisfy our clients.

So: if you ever did have a complaint about us (it doesn't often happen, but even the best run business can make mistakes sometimes) please tell us. Then we can try to put it right. Talk to the person dealing with your matter; and if he or she can't sort out whatever is wrong or explain what is happening, talk to one of the partners.
